Ok, I’m here for you, Bosda - I’m not sure WHY I’m here (cause I can’t see the opening post) but I’m here, hugs and all…
Something that I heard (or read I don’t remember) is to close your eyes, imagine an empty balloon, and gradually fill it up with your aggravations and worries. Then tie it off, let go of the string, and watch it float away slowly until it disappears. I was pretty surprised at how well it works. But then there are those headaches that have you reaching for the Aleve. Or chocolate, chocolate always works.
I don’t mind giving hugs to an invisible OP (((((Bosda)))))
Hope your feeling better
Man, the hamsters really have a taste for OP’s lately!
Bosda, whatever it is, I hope it gets better soon.
When I am freaked about things in my life, I like to go work in the garden, or go for a walk. Anything that allows me to think of a solution to my problem, or acceptance of something I can’t change, without dwelling on it exclusively. Try doing something that you love, and see if it helps you find answers or peace.
Best of luck,
Kris
I had an actual panic attack.
Job search blues here people.
I’ve still got work, but I need to start looking.
In the 1980’s, I was out of work for 5 years, & would have been homeless except for my parents.
So now, when I try to apply on-line, I suffer Rejection Syndrome Freaking.
And I can’t get the info I need from my old Federal Job, so I can apply for a new Federal job.
Called my Congressman’s office. They said they’d try to help.
We’ll see…
