Boston Legal 10/25

Come on, Legalites! I know you’re out there…

I’m glad Betty White’s character isn’t dead, but I’m going to miss her. I hope she comes back at some point.

Alan’s outburst at the restaurant was amusing but I don’t know what he hoped to accomplish.

Denny just fumbles so badly that you gotta feel a little sorry for him even when he’s being an ass. And they said that Laurie talked to some guy named Blinkie about Denny’s sexual harrassing her…Who is this Blinkie fellow?

New guy bangs a paralegal in a file room? Dumb, dumb, dumb! Schmidt was right to tell him he’s on probation.

The cigar in the ear is so absurd but it still makes me laugh.

What a mess. I know they’re going through some changes, but Julie Bowen’s case was the only thing worth its salt last night. Auberjonois is such a talent and seems largely wasted, and the Spader/Shatner/Bergen shtick is getting old. I may give it another chance (this Iraq case may be interesting), but last night had too much Dumb for my liking.

Blinky was the woman she was giving her statement to, the one that started blinking a lot part way through.
I missed a little bit; what happened to the liability case after she gave the opening argument? Did they say?
I’m still digging this show somewhat.

The lawyers met, and the car folks upped thier offer to $1.4 M. The client was satisfied, but Bowen said no thanks. The car folks upped again to $1.7M and they agreed.

Brian

Thanks.
I guess that’s not a bad payday for what she described as a 6-year old nothing case.

The writers/producers/whoever can get it inserted-type people at the show seem to have this passion about salmon. Not that I blame them: Most, if not all, of the stuff they say is true… but it’s almost becoming a rant at this point. I did have a hard time believing that a top quality restraunt would serve farmed salmon though. But I live on the West Coast
