Boston-Provincetown Ferry, little help?

Getting into Logan, loathing the drive and the buses to the Cape, so who can give me their quick personal experience on what I need to do to get to the ferry? My sister said something about a water taxi?

There is a water taxi, although I’ve never taken it. Info is here. You’d want to go from Logan Airport (stop #1 on the map) to Long Wharf (stop #18).

Another option would be the local transit service, the MBTA. Their trip planning page is here (go from “Logan Airport” to “Long Wharf Boston”). Best bet would be to take one of the airport shuttle routes (you’ll need one to get to the water taxi dock, too) to the Airport station, take the Blue Line two stops inbound to the Aquarium station, and Long Wharf is right there.

The water taxi would be more scenic (but you’ll be seeing it all from the ferry, anyway); the taxi and ferry are run by the same company, and you’d save a couple bucks if you show your ferry ticket on the taxi. The T would be cheaper and probably faster.

Info for the Provincetown ferry is here.

If that’s too many stops, you can ride the Silver Line bus right from the airport terminal into South Station, free, and then it’s a short walk to Long Wharf.

More than half a mile, and the OP might have some luggage.
