I would learn how to give botox/collagen shots. What training is necessary? Where can I find the legal certification requirements?
Also, I would like to attend a botox party. I live in city of 75,000 in a conservative state and am 45 miles from a major US city. But I don’t know how to network for this. My hairdressed was the only person I could think of, but she didn’t know.

I personally would never consider such surgery unless performed by a qualified plastic surgeon.
Amazing but true - yes, there are botox parties, sort of like Tupperware for the face. Seems to be mostly a New York/LA phenomenon at present, as well as in some affluent areas of South America. I don’t konw if this has reached Europe or Asia, yet.
I don’t think I’d consider it at all, personally.
I believe that, in the United States at least, you have to be an MD to do this sort of thing but I could be wrong. Presumably, medical training of some sort is required.
Of course, that doesn’t stop all manner of foolish people from attempting home surgery on their own.
Indeed, Botox is a prescription drug, and can only be administered by a doctor. It costs $300-$400 per treatment, but botox parties can knock off around $100 (and the hostess gets hers free).
You may be able to find out about such a party by asking a plastic surgeon in your area, or by revealing your town, state, or the nearest large city.
