Botticelli #38

I know that it is a shame I couldn’t think of Samuel Beckett without help, but that’s the way it was. DQ for you.

Yes, I think it’s fair to say so.

No.

Another three DQs for astorian.

No.

No idea, DQ.

SUMMARY:

Dead
Male
Real Person
American
Not involved in sports
Not involved in arts
Not involved in science
Did not die at any point duing the 20th century
Not born in the 20th century

And here I was thinking of Saul Bellow, but Becket works as well.

Ok, my DQ: Were you a politician?

Do you have a guessing game named after you?

Yes.

Were you a revolutionary leader who got no less than two countries named after yourself?

No, I’m not Sandro Botticelli.

Actually, I was thinking of taking Botticelli in the first place for the fun of it, the person I ended up with being just one of the possible guesses I was expecting. Before starting the game, however, I changed my mind, thinking that there are certainly enough would-be smartasses like me who’d think of Botticelli in a game of Botticelli.

You got it, so I’m just saying that yes, I am Simón Bolívar.

What’s the other country named after him? Are you thinking of the Bolivarian Republic of Venzuela?

Yup! Both Venezuela and Bolivia…

And hmm… does this mean I have to think of someone for #39?

In that case, cool

Congrats to Worm!

Just to tie up a loose end, the person I had in mind was Samantha Bee.
