IQ1: Are you the first black actress to star in a TV series where the lead role wasn’t a domestic worker?
IQ2: Are you an avant-garde jazz saxophonist whose greatest hit was My Favorite Things in 1961?
IQ3: Are you an actor perhaps most famous for the line “Show me the money” in the film Jerry MaGuire?

So a western lawman, maybe, or a vigilante? Thinking…

A lawyer perhaps, associated with a famous trial?

Not Diann Carroll (sp?), dunno, and not Cuba Gooding Jr. (great movie!).

DQ: Most famous as a lawyer?

John Coltraine

What else is there for law enforcement?
Is EH not including sheriff/deputy/trooper/detective/inspector as police?
CIA wouldn’t be considered law enforcement, since they’re more for overseas intelligence gathering.
What else is there on the court side of things? Can’t think of any notable bailiffs or stenographers.

This is my game guess.
IQ: Did you direct the user of fire hoses and attack dogs against civil rights protesters in Birmingham Alabama in 1963?

Yes, I am

Theophilus Eugene “Bull” Connor

the racist thug who was Commissioner of Public Safety (supervising both the police and fire departments, but he wasn’t a police officer) of Birmingham, Ala. during the worst of the Civil Rights Era troubles there: Bull Connor - Wikipedia.

Good job, Knowed Out!

It keeps with the theme of this month too!

New letter is D!

How about moving this to a new thread for the new month that starts tomorrow?

Great job, KO! I don’t remember ever hearing about Bull Connor. I agree with SCAdian, please start the March thread.
