To clarify my answer to DQ13, the two things I think of her for are being a member of the Manson family - hanging out at the trial, and the political assassination attempt.

Actually, for me there’s a third thing- she graduated from my high school the year I was born. When we rushed through the 70s in the last few days of history class, our teacher pointed out which seat she had sat in when he had her, and told us a few stories.
