I got lucky with Emory Upton… I think it helped there were two assaults on the Mule Shoe at Spotsylvania. And remembering the last name of the GOC of the British 1st Airborne at Market-Garden is another impressive feat.

Q on rules: If I have a guess at this point, is there a way to make it, or should I wait until the last DQs have been played?

I’d heard of Upton, of course, and have even walked that hallowed ground at Spotsylvania, but his name just didn’t come to mind.

The only way I twigged to him was that I had a former professor who almost qualified for most of the questions - and he had a first name very close to “Uzi”, and was sometimes called that - his classes were very challenging.
