There are different definitions of “Asian” for which I thought it would still be useful, but I’ll take your hint and withdraw it.

DQ: From North or South America?

[Re: GenCon. Not much to tell there, as we weren’t actually at GenCon. A group of artists, including Madame P., who had been in the Art Show for years and years, were unceremoniously told there was no room for them this year. So, we found a nearby venue. It was four blocks away in the Artsgarden. We had little traffic and fewer sales. So, nothing to say, really.]
DQ) Involved in science, medicine or technology?

Aaaand … that’s 20! Time for the “Are you Firstname Lastname?” questions; I’ll check back from time to time to answer any that have been asked, and if necessary will reveal my identity tomorrow evening (EDT).
To expand on DQ16: My mother was ethnically Asian and was born on that continent, and after completing my education I served as attache at an Asian embassy in London, but those are the only mentions of Asia in my Wikipedia article.
DQ10 is important.
Hmm. Drawing a blank. Lemme think…
“My mother was ethnically Asian” - Her ancestors were members of a people that came from somewhere in Asia; they were not necessarily Mongoloid (or “Oriental,” if you prefer that term).
We’ve got mostly Nos and a few Maybes. If anybody wants my guess, they can have it.
I’m pondering, but, so far, nada.
Re DQ 10: Not only for what I did, but for whom I did it with.
Are you Dodi Fayed?
The executive producer of F/X, Chariots of Fire, and other films, I was also an executive creative consultant for the F/X television series. My mother was of Turkish and Syrian ancestry, but I was born in Egypt and educated in Europe (including a six-month course at the British military academy, Sandhurst). I am Emad El-Din Mohamed Abdel Moneim “Dodi” Fayed, best known to the average American for dying in a car crash in Paris, along with Diana, Princess of Wales.
Bravo!
Wow. Great job, KO!
Well done, both SCAdian and Knowed Out!
I had narrowed his birthplace down to Egypt, and thanks to the additional hint, suddenly remembered Princess Di had a relationship with an Egyptian.
Let’s go with the next letter, G.
