DQ: Are you male?
hey! my question, my DQ!
but first - what do we already know about RM?
Yes.
Male, not an actor, sometime politician (though that is not what he’s best known for).
We know that RM is:
[ul][li]Not an actor[/li][li]Is in politics, but that is not RM’s main claim to fame[/li][*]Male[/ul]
ok:
[del]we know that RM is/was[ul]
[li]not an actor/actress[/li][li]in politics, but not his claim to fame[/li][li]male[/li][/ul] [/del] (hee hee - simulpost)
so my DQ is:
Are currently living?
Are you a Native American political activist?
Did you sing and dance opposite Michele Lee?
Yes, I am alive today.
No, I am not Russell Means.
No, I am not Robert Morse.
Oops, didn’t mean to step on any toes. I thought answering the OP’s “didn’t know who” was okay, since it was already ruled out.
If the OP doesn’t know to whom the poster is referring, the poster gets a direct question so as to narrow the field possible people.
If he had not given you an answer to the radio talk show host question (even tho it was not the answer you had in mind) you would have gotten a DQ.
It’s in the rules.
never mind
ok - here’s one
Were you a noted Lacrosse coach?
Okay, I really didn’t get any of that on the Wiki page. This just seemed like a standard 20 questions game. I saw nothing about any DQ, and it still means Dairy Queen to me.
Nevertheless, I am bowing out since this game is over my head. Maybe someone will start a 20 questions thread
for clarification’s sake, for anyone else wondering about this subject, the second item in “indirect mode” states *“No, and I don’t know who you’re thinking of.” — The chooser can’t think of someone meeting the criteria. The guesser reveals their answer, and the game changes to direct mode. *In Direct Mode, player asks “It” a direct ‘yes or no’ question to determine facts about “It”'s identity
In a review of the Rules I note that Direct Mode is supposed to continue as long as the answer is Yes. This means that Johnny L.A. gets two more shots at Direct Mode (for the questions “Are you in politics?” and “Are you male?”); anyrose gets one (for the question “Are currently living?”).
So have at it.
DQ1: Is your main claim to fame in the entertainment industry? (I consider being an author, while providing entertainment, as a separate thing.)
DQ: Does your noteworthyness involve a sex scandal?
No, and I don’t know who was.
