bouncy huts for grownups?

Is there such a thing?

Do bouncy huts all require a generator/pump to keep them inflated?

I’ve been in one for adult bounce volleyball that my company rented for a party.

Here’s some I found in a quick search:

The do require a blower. They have vents in them to constantly let air out so they need the pump running all the time. That’s what makes them bouncy and not stiff. The blowers are loud and draw a lot of electricity.

I don’t think the people who rent them care who uses them

See? This is why I love this place! Three answers in under half an hour. Thanks, all!

There’s a place near me that converted an old grocery store’s space into a bouncy castle paradise. At any given time there are six or seven massive Bounce-O-Matics set up (and an arcade, etc.). The cost is laughable–ten bucks a head for all day fun (and you can come and go at will). Great for us grown-ups too. Besides the free wi-fi, the only restriction they have is total weight inside the things. They don’t really check (what adult is going in when it’s full of children?), but on slower days we can hop and bop along with the Dudeling as much as we want.

Er, not that I’d sacrifice my dignity and all. But, um, if I wanted to, of course. That’s what I meant.

Perversely, there are “Adult Bouncy Castles” that feature giant Breasts and Penises
Don’t believe me?

Some of these constructions apparently come with “sleeves” that can cover the questionable structures and make them look like something innocous, so they can rent these out for kids’ parties. But I’d hate to think what would happen if the buckles holding the sleeves on came loose.

If that bothers ou, you can rent a ‘blower extender’ which allows you to locate the blower farther away, even inside another room, where the noise is reduced. (Almost exclusively used for adult rentals – the kids don’t care about the blower noise, and those watching them prefer hearing the blower motor noise to the constant shrieks of herds of kids.)

They care very much that the renter signs a legal waiver of responsibility for injuries to users. Also, there are differences when used by adults, relating to their strength & weight when bouncing around. Adult ones may be built with thicker floors, and the air pressure is adjusted for their weight.
