Bowie Baysox to honor David Bowie

A local AA baseball team, the Orioles affiliate Bowie Baysox will honor David Bowie this Friday by changing the pronunciation of their name from “Boo-ee” (named after former Maryland Governor Oden Bowie) to “Boh-ee,” and wear David Bowie-themed jerseys which will later be auctioned for charity.

I’m curious how many different jerseys there will be. I’m considering going. Whoever thought up this promotion is brilliant!
