Boy Crucified After Fingertips Cut Off - True of False?

Reprehensible idiot and all-around repugnant radio host Mark Levin, while spewing his usual unsupported accusations, hate-speech and outright lies, today puked out the news story of a boy being crucified after his preacher father refused to convert to Islam. Regarding the source, I immediately began to wonder if this in fact happened, and a perusal of five or so links on the incident has not encouraged me to think it did. The lack of any names of the people invovled, or corroboration by “mainstream” media sources lends support to my belief. But, I do not know that it did not happen, and wonder if anyone has better evidence that it did.

I know nothing about Mark Levin. However, since a bunch of people are being crucified in Syria, I am not sure why you would have a hard time believing this happened.

Link.

Then you didn’t read my post carefully. In any case, your link does not offer any evidence to support the story I asked about.

What did he miss in your OP?

That there is no clear evidence that it happened.

In sleestak’s link the people are put on crosses after being killed, not before.

I don’t have an answer to your OP but I’m curious, if ML is such a “Reprehensible idiot and all-around repugnant” and is always spewing hate and lies why do you listen to him?

You know, I’ve thought about this myself. I have an hour and a half drive home every evening, and he comes in clear on the radio. I guess the main reason is to see what outrageous, shameless lie he can come up with next, to outdo himself from the previous day. That, and my unending, overriding need to feel completely, absolutely, and totally intellectually superior to another human being.

So, they weren’t crucified.

It’s quite a thing to say the because people are being crucified, that any report of a crucifixion should be believed.

Just curious: do you know who ML is? Would you say he is right about most of what he says? 30%? 50%? 75%?

Hey!

Levin isn’t nearly as idiotic and repugnant as Michael Savage.

Please, one idiotic and repugnant radio host at a time. My feeble mind might explode,
otherwise.

It’s a complex issue with arguments on both sides, but I am cautiously against crucifying children.

Some of my friends support child crucifixion, and some friends are against it. In this, I support my friends.

No, I can’t say Ive ever heard of him. But I guess I do take your point (to a degree). There is a right wing station in my town I land on occasionally (Ray Appleton ?) and I’d say they lie about half the time. The other times they just mischaracterize the news.

I agree it’s not the kind of issue you want to rush to emotive conclusions about; measured debate is the key.

I don’t know about this specific instance, but

Cite. So it seems plausible, although not proven.

No mention of waterboarding , thank God.

Shodan

But were they hanged or hung on a cross?
