Brady Bunch on ''Weakest Link'' question

It’s been a while, but when I saw this, it sounded as though someone said “SHIT!” off camera after giving an incorrect answer.

Anyone else catch that? I’ve since taped over it, but I rewound it a number of times. It really sounded like it, but it was not so obvious as to give any real conclusion (to my poorly-tuned ears, anyway).

You’re right. It’s been a while. And I didn’t watch said episode.

However, one of the morning shows here was talking about it the next day. What they were talking about was a question that either Jan or Marcia answered incorrectly, and how they thought that what she answered was a word you can’t say on TV.

They played a clip from the show. The question was about the name of a movie. I believe the right answer to the question was Seven. (I think the question was about a movie starring Brad Pitt, etc.)

The response given was “Smegma”. The radio folks figured she was trying to come up with “Stigmata”, which of course would have been wrong.

Then the discussion dissolved into whether or not that was truly a bad word.

According to http://www.dictionary.com the definition of said word is:

I’ve known the word, but didn’t think it was a so-called “dirty word”, although the definition is pretty disgusting.

Anyhoo, that’s a pretty long answer from someone who actually DID NOT watch the show. Maybe someone said SHIT, too, for all I know. But the morning crew didn’t mention that in this discussion.

Everybody knows it was Matt Damon who played the title role in Smegma

Boy, you learn something new every day on this board. Clitoral smegma? Who knew?

Apparently everyone but Marcia. (or Jan, whichever)
