Brag about your Stereo

The brag about your computer thread got me thinking. Tell me about your stereo.
mine is:
Rotel RA-932 integreted amp
Sony CA70ES CD player
KEF 15.2 bookshelf speakers
AudioSun stands
Sidewinder interconnects
IXOS Biwire

(I am kinda embarassed to tell you about my 15 year old Sony digital tuner, but hey, it works good enough to get NPR)

Nothing special. My setup is more for home theater. 32" WEGA, an older Dolby ProLogic Sony receiver, a grovy Sony CD/DVD/SACD player and a Sony PlayStation 2.

Sound L,C and R sound comes from NHT Super Zeros. I have 2 more Super Zeros for the surround channels that aren’t hooked up yet.

I also have three different subwoofer systems in varying stages of design and construction that also aren’t connected to the system.

[ul]Audio Source EQ100 Equalizer
Sony PS-LX250H Automatic Turntable
Technics SA-DX950 AV Receiver
Technics SL-PD9 CD Changer
2 Bose Model 100 Speakers[/ul]
And all in a 11’ x 8’ College dorm room.

Well my home stereo is a piece of crap, but my tiny little minidisc player/recorder sounds good and looks beautiful. IMO.
It was worth every penny.

I bought mine at Sears. When I stand 4 feet away from it - the radio comes in really clear!

That’s the best brag I can muster.

Adcom Preamp
Adcom Power Amp 200W RMS continuous, 1000W peak
Denon 1500 MkII CD Player that still plays 14 years later
Sony 5 disc DVD\CD Changer
MIT Speaker Cable
Monster Interconnects
Image Concept 200 Speakers

No tuner or turntable. Sold the Nakamichi tape deck after realizing it never got used.

I gotz tha shiznit. RCA 5-disk CD player hooked to a $50 boombox. Awww yeah.

If I want the extra sweet sounds I go to the computer. WinAMP + Mp3s + SUBWOOFER!

It doesn’t get much better.

Here’s mine:

Integrated amp: Jolida 302A–EL34-based tube amplifier
Digital Source: Sony SCD-C333ES Super Audio CD player
Analog source: Music Hall MMF-5 turntable, with
Goldring 1012gx cartridge
Loudspeakers: JM Reynaud Twin Mk.II (non-biwire)
Interconnects: Straightwire Chorus
Loudspeaker cables: Wireworld Luna III+, spade-terminated

Sounds like a dream. Next move will be upgrading my turntable to a VPI.

Anyone else here like tube amps for hi-fi? Probably not…
