Last weekend I attended Wonderfest, a national fantasy & sci-fi model show held in Louisville, Kentucky. Big model show, 512 entries; everything from zombies to starships to anime to less-easy-to-categorize things. I had entered three models in the show, and one, my Imperial aeronef Haifeng did far better than I expected.
I won a Gold. And Best Starship. I haven’t stopped grinning since Sunday afternoon. :D:D:D:D
Photos of the contest are posted all over the web. This guy took some very nice shots, and the Aeronef is the last one in the first row and first three in the second.
