Braille embossed business card?

I was handed a business card this morning that was Braille-embossed, presumably with just the basics of the card - name, phone number.

I was instantly jealous - what a good idea!

How can I do this? Can I order a custom die and hand-press my existing cards? Must I find a printer that does this and re-order, paying for a new setup graphic fee?

This looks promissing for DIY. http://www.abledata.com/abledata.cfm?pageid=19327&top=13243&productid=158739&trail=22,13134

As I have noted before and will undoubtedly have occasion to note again… you rock.

 despite my inability to spell promising.

If your existing printer does embossing they should be able to do it next time around. Hand stamping it would be quite a chore unless you had a proper embossing tool to do a whole card at a time. Might want to do a few and keep them in the office just in case.
