Brain and Brain! What is Brain?

[smirky Monty Python voice]We already got one! In our White House, you silly French Knnnnnight!"[/smirky Monty Python Voice]

Mmmmmm…braaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnnnss

One of the really interesting things about this guy is that his neural modification took place when he was an adult. Most people with (for lack of a better term) high function hydrocephapathy develop with the condition. This guy had a normal brain up until he was 14, and the space in his brain developed when he was an adult. I am pretty sure researchers will be trying to timeline his mental abilities and graph them against expected size of the brain.

The space may have developed slowly, and as tissue was compressed, unused neurons died and brain functions migrated outwards. His remaining tissue is probably far more efficiently used than in normal brain matter.

Si

Zombie liquid lunch!

Or a cordial.

What kind of threads could this story spawn? How about one for GQ:
If I was a high-functioning hydrocephalic and was dying of thirst on a desert island, would it make sense for me to drink my own head, or would that make things worse?
