OK, I thought the point of this was to GUESS what movie the previous quote was from, then toss out your own, so people could guess what movie IT was from. Why is everyone giving us a quote and then the answer?

The point is not to guess the movie, but to keep the conversation going for as long as possible, using only movie quotes. People are throwing in the reference line as a courtesy.
