Um, I’m not sure any of the groups at this stage is an underdog. Well, perhaps Holland, but all the teams have made it to the semi-finals at least once.
One could argue that, with Brazil without Neymar and Thiago and Argentina without Di Maria, those teams are in a worse position than Germany or Holland.
I was on the “anyone but Brazil” bandwagon at the start of the tournament, and they way they’ve played, especially against Colombia, has only strengthened my desire to see someone else win.
I’m rooting for Germany today, but ideally i’d like the eventual winner to come from tomorrow’s game.
