In college my roommate and I lived (if you could call it that) almost entirely on Froot Loops (dry), Jack Daniels, and Ben and Jerry’s coffee heathbar crunch. We would also smoke Marlboro Lights as a diet aid.
I had granola for breakfast this morning. I guess that means I’m older and wiser.
Nada thang wrong with cereal!

I’ve never ordered cereal through the mail before!
I noticed they had stuff like “Kaboom” and “Boo Berry”.
I hated marshmellows as a kid, and hate them to this day. How someone dumps milk on them and says it’s a good breakfast is beyond me. Blech!
But the cereals I really hated was anything chocolate!
As Cecil himself once wrote, Cocoa Puffs are the greatest example of mans inhumanity toward man! They just tasted like crap to me. Give me something like Quisp, Capn Crunch, or Alpha Bits (with the cut out cardboard record on the box, usually the Archies) and I was happy.
Of course if I’m out of Apple Jacks, I just fry up a big pan of Beff Stroganoff Hamburger Helper, pour some milk over the top of it and call it breakfast. Yum
If Cap’n Crunch is good enough for me, then it’s good enough for my kids. Whooo hoooo! Lookit that bugger run!!

I could eat cereal 3 times a day if I was allowed, but occasionally I stray to real food. My faves - Fruit Loops and Corn Pops (both dry or with milk) Also like the “healthier” cereals, Sultana bran etc. I allow myself whole milk once a month or so as a treat…hmmm. Just might have me another bowl right now.
I’m currently working on a box of Count Chocula, myself…love Cocoa Puffs and Cheerios and Golden Grahams and Super Sugar Crisp (or whatever they call it now) and Corn Pops and Lucky Charms…

That said, I can tolerate Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, and Kix.

I was always a cereal mutant. As a youth, while my younger siblings were eating up all of the marshmellow-chocolate-and-sugar-drenched graineries such as Boo Berry, Count Chocula and Pebbles, I was old school before I was in Junior High School.
I was happy (and still am) with Rice Krispies and Corn Flakes, lightly dusted with sugar please, and that was just fine with me (and still is).

IIRC, Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs were Calvin (of Calvin & Hobbes fame)'s favorite cereal
I like the sugary chex and mini wheats cereals , no milk 
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again. The GREATEST cereal of all time is Cracklin’ Oat Bran.
But, I’m not sure if they make it any more. So, for a couple years now, I’ve been eating Special K, and Wheaties.
It could just be me, but I think Frosted Flakes have been reformulated…or something. They taste different than they used to a couple years back. Or, maybe my taste buds have “matured.” Same thing goes for Honey-Nut Cheerios.

IIRC, the mascot of Calvin’s beloved Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs was Buzzy the Hummingbird. How appropriate.
On another note, if y’all haven’t heard of this one, take a look at a short-lived Cap’n Crunch spin-off: Punch Crunch. The hot pink box, along with an, erm, unusual mascot (a pink hippo in a sailor suit leering at the Cap’n) made the cereal kind of a joke in the gay community. The cereal didn’t last long, from what I hear.
