And what’s he going to do with the ricin?
I’m wondering if the Nazis will go to Hank’s house, and if so if they’ll find Marie or any member of the family.

When the Nazis dug up the money, I was really hoping they would just find the one barrel (or just the top), open it, empty it into the trunk of a car and leave the other 6. I mean, if you were them, when you opened that first one, would you keep digging or would you just scoop the money out? It would be a lot easier to just pick the money out by hand. Then they wouldn’t have even noticed the rest of them.
Earlier in the thread:
No reason. Two, he can.
Looks like they will keep him alive and then Walt will have to come back to close the deal and charge interest.
The Nazis have $70 million. They’re going to leave and never come back. What on Jesse’s tape could harm them? It’s not like they aren’t already known criminals.
They don’t need Walt now.
Depends on whether they can get a real cook out of Jesse.
I don’t know how much the show will get into it, but most likely the Nazis will be foolish with the money. Most people would be.
I don’t know why the Nazis wouldn’t just leave, but I don’t think it’s obvious they’re gone for good, either. If Todd is just running his own show, using Jesse to get his cooks done, I find it surprising Walt has to roll in with such heavy machinery just to kill Todd. Todd to some degree likes Walt, and is also to a large degree stupid. Walt could probably call Todd up and arrange a meeting on some pretext and kill Todd, if Todd was really running things on himself.
Todd’s actions and Walt’s actions in the flash forwards really only make sense if his Aryan Brotherhood uncle and his gang are still in the picture to some degree.
To put it another way, they wouldn’t be forcing Jesse to cook for them if they expected to see Walt again. Having stolen $70 million from Walt and killed Hank over Walt’s objections, I think they consider their business concluded.
True. Walt has to have a really good reason to come back though. Revenge probably isn’t good enough. His family must somehow be threatened.
Jesse still knows how to cook. He did that great cook for the Mexicans all on his own. He’ll certainly do better than Todd.
Jack and his gang are in Mexico smoking fat cigars now. They don’t give a shit anymore, they’re rich. Todd, on the other hand, has something more (and more ominous) in him, and I don’t think it’s all about Lydia.
I’m wondering if the chance to be the greatest meth kingpin in the Southwest is a bit like the One Ring. It whispers to you “you can be the King”, and if you’re receptive to it, it will change you. Gus had it, then Walt, and now, somehow, it has fallen into Todd’s lap. Of course, everyone who has it ends up overextending their luck and flying too close to the sun. This won’t end well for Todd either.
Interesting symbolism. Jessie is getting beat up on/by both sides, literally.
Hank, the law, beats the left side of his face and Todd, the criminal, beats the right side of his face. Jessie is a victim of both sides of the law.
He’s got the skills, but the motivation seems unclear.
The picture of Andrea and Brock. That was a pretty clear message saying what will happen if he doesn’t cook.
His motivation is that if he doesn’t do it, they’ll kill Andrea and Brock.
Everyone keeps saying that, but it doesn’t make sense given the flash forward that Todd is by himself. Are we to believe Todd, who is mostly stupid and inept, has somehow assembled his own gang of militants that Walter has to fight with?
The most reasonable conclusion is for some reason the Aryan Brotherhood guys are still in the picture. Otherwise there is no reason for Walt to have some final showdown.
Yeah, could be. Maybe the One Ring has spoken to them, too. If I were them, though, I’d be outta there.
Great episode. Obviously the last two standing will be Jesse and Walt on what terms remains to be seen. Anyone else notice reflection of the camera in the window of the car when Sklyer and junior pulled up to the house behind Walt’s old truck and opened the door ?
I think you’re assuming Walt bought the big gun for some big showdown. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s for some totally out-of-left-field purpose. Maybe he’ll never even shoot it. Maybe he’s gonna plant it on someone or…oh I don’t know. But I’ll bet it’s not for some obvious purpose.
