Breaking Bad question on finale and Skyler [*SPOILERS *SPOILERS]

Don’t say I didn’t warn you on spoilers, which if you haven’t seen what is probably the best dramatic novella ever filmed, you’ll hate yourself for reading this.

Is it possible Skyler never sees jail time?

Even with her useful bargaining of the address of the bodies…she doesn’t have to say she met Walt and didn’t report it (a crime), just say the ticket numbers showed up and maybe they could use it for “something.”

What else do they actually or conceivably have on her? (Naturally this is asked within a fan-fiction alternate universe where the lives of everybody goes on, so it’s just fun to explore…)

Yes, absolutely. Highly likely.
An attractive white woman with a teenaged son and an infant daughter is not going to be thrown in jail or sentenced to prison.

Even if she outright KILLED someone like Walt repeatedly did, she’d have a good chance at staying out of prison. But she didn’t; all her crimes were abstract things like money laundering and being an accessory. There’s not enough emotion generated by those crimes for the average jury and judge to want to throw the book at her.

Huh. Not arguing about your take, but her cold bloodedness "to protect her family"eventually matched Walt’s. By the end she told Walt, “what’s one more” ie requested the murder of Jessie.
But no evidence.

Now, given this line of thought, she/Walt redux will go after Jesse.
Weren’t they pretty much only going after her to go after Walt? They were just hoping that if they applied enough pressure she would reveal where he was.
