I’m re-watching this show from the beginning and I need someone to help me!
At some point during episode 3.4 or 3.5, Hank gets re-interested in Jesse as a suspect for running meth. He starts watching Jesse’s house so that he can allegedly lead him to the RV. But I’ve missed a connection or something somewhere. Number one: How does Hank even know about the RV?
Number dos: Does anyone remember what put Hank back on to Jesse? I know that Jesse has cooked up some more blue meth by this point but he just had a meeting with his two friends regarding getting back into the game while Hank was watching his house. I don’t think the blue meth has gotten back into circulation yet.
This is right after Hank beats the shit out of the two guys in the bar with Gomie waiting in the car. I also don’t remember if Hank is technically “on vacation” from the force due to the beating and doing this all alone or what?
Help please!
Jesse barters for gas for the RV using the methamphetamine that he’s cooked. The gas station attendant who accepts the meth is caught – or her friend is caught, or something – and the sheriff alerts Hank to the possibility that Heisenberg is cooking again. Hank blows off the DEA position in El Paso, questions the gas station attendant to no effect, and is about to give up when he notices an ATM in front of the station. He checks the ATM’s video recording device and notices an RV.
He’s able to trace the RV back to Combo. He quickly discovers that Combo was an old friend of Jesse’s.
Hank wasn’t “on vacation” or on leave from his job. I don’t think he was even officially reprimanded. The men in the bar attacked him first, so he was in the clear.
Thank you SO much! I must have missed an entire episode somewhere here. I’ll need to go back and see what I missed.
Yep…I missed episode 3.4 entirely. Thanks again, Tarwater!
Random useless trivia: the cashier at the gas station was played by Jolene Purdy who played Cherita Chen in the movie Donnie Darko (“Shut up!”).
