I’m ashamed to admit that through an unusual set of circumstances I heard that discussion as it was aired. Before that part, they had some discussion on whether Iraq was involved in the Semptember 11 attacks; they seemed to think that a few years ago everybody thought Iraq was involved. Now I’m aware that there had been surveys that indicated that some people thought that, but you’d think that these professional broadcasters would at least be informed to the extent of watching some of the news that comes from their own network, later in the day.
The first time in history that fire has ever melted steel? WTF? How does she think steel is melted? Laser beams?
Can someone post a summary for those of us who want to know what she said without having to actually, y’know, listen to her?
Yeah, that’s just crazy talk. I thought by now that everyone knew that aliens were responsible for the 9/11 attack.

She said Tower 1 and Tower 2 were taken down by airplanes, but that World Trade 7 was a calculated implosion. She says that if she had any physicists on the show they would agree with her.

I’m not too sure about the credibility of the people in question, but I’ll say this much–having Rosie break it on The View pretty much cuts the credibility score in half!

Anyone who purchases anything appearing in commercials shown during The View is guilty of contributing to ignorance and thus is in direct opposition to the stated intent of The Straight Dope.

I don’t get it. Are the first two towers not enough? Did Bush and Co. see two towers get hit by planes and decide “hey this isn’t enough justification, we need to blow up one more.”
Remarkably, the other women on The View are dumber than she is for letting her get away with this crap.
And when the fuck was capitalism about helping your neighborhood and country? I can’t remember it being about anything but corruption, oppression and greed.

The conspiracy folks go back and forth between it being Bush and it being Larry Silverstein going after more insurance money. When called on for that inconsistancy (among many others) they always fall back on “we are only asking questions”. Doesn’t matter how many times they get answers, there are always “questions”.
