Dammit, Reepicheeps’ aunt , it wasn’t GWB, it was that Illuminati frat he belonged to at Yale! He was just set up! Geeze Louise…
Fuck. As a way-left Liberal I reject and condemn this loony conspiracy crap. It’s gone on too long and too far. These loony liberals are doing a lot of damage.
Rosie, I actually used to like you, enough so that I forgave you for your fawning all over $cienos Tom Cruise and John Travolta. No more. With this, I hate you, now and forever.
Good point. I did fly too far left in my statement.
It’s just that the woman made it sound like Capitalism was at one point better than it is now. Everything has its upsides, but Capitalism was much more oppressive back before the 1940’s than it was after.
I think that one involved the Norwegian government and children on sleds.

While searching about with Google to see what the repercussions of this have been, I happened upon her blog. She mentioned to one of the posters to her Q&A section that she will be on vacation until a week from Tues.
Now, IIRC she was also on vacation the week after the Trump brouhaha.
So now I’m wondering, does she just make it a practice to say or do something outrageous to carry over interest until she returns from her (apparently frequent) vacations…or does ABC/The View send her on vacation after one of these episodes until the storm blows over?
I think she is just an idiot all the time, and therefore says something stupid before every vacation.
Regards,
Shodan
Why the hell would she fawn all over Cruise and Travolta? $cientology hates homosexuality, so for her to be all syrupy over a couple of members of that cult is rather bizarre and stupid (yes, I know, we’re talking about Rosie) to an extreme degree.
Rosie was fine when she hosted Stand Up Spotlight on Comedy Central, but at some point after she left the show, she began to take herself waaaaaay too seriously. (Remember the whole business of her bodyguard being busted for carrying a weapon into a school, and Rosie being vehmently anti-gun, but perfectly happy with her bodyguard packing heat?)
I once read (can’t remember where) an interesting proposal as to a motive for the government to have the WTC buildings etc. wired to blow. The idea was that a lot of important buildings are so wired, so that, in the event of an attack, they can fall in a controlled fashion rather than toppling over. The idea is supposed to be to actually minimize the damage.

Because she likes Cruise and Travolta.
Thank you, Captain Obvious. Now, if you’d be so kind to explain as to why she likes those two, when they’re active members of a cult that hates homosexuals, I’d be ever so happy.
Because she’s an idiot.
She’s had a crush on Cruise ever since she had her own show.
She’s gotten more and more strident at time goes on. I respect Barbara Walters as a journalist, but why she’s continuing to put up with Rosie’s crap I cannot fathom.
Well, yeah, but what is it about her particular idiocy which compells her to like the two of them?
When the whole Rosie/Donald thing broke out I thought: Trump never had any class, but Barbara Walters used to. I wonder if she is happy to trade class for ratings and to let her show become so Springer-like?
I continue to think that every time the news trumpets some new Rosie-ism.
The Catholic Church also hates homosexuals. Should she sever ties with all her Catholic friends too?
Well, if the Catholic Church suddenly decides that it’s no longer going to tolerate dissention in the ranks and that violence is an acceptable response to people who disagree with you (Things which $cientology advocates, BTW) then I’d say yeah. Frankly, I can’t imagine wanting to hang around with someone who was involved in an organization which not only hated me for who/what I was, but also micromanaged every aspect of a member’s life, but then again, I’m weird like that.
Who? Rosie? Since when?
I don’t know exactly what Rosie said, but I do know that the 9/11 conspiracy theories are more popular that you’d think. For that reason I think it’s something that should be discussed in the media if only to properly debunk (or prove as the case may be lol) it and educate people on the issue. The idea seems pretty prepostorous to me, but something seeming preposterous is not a good enough reason to dismiss it in my opinion. There certainly were some weird things with 9/11 that needed to be investigated. It’s better to have a definitive debunking of something than lingering questions. I’m open minded so I can see some people finding the whole thing suspicious, but I was shocked and amazed that some of my acquaintances, particularly ones from other countries or with foreign backgrounds, just completely buy the conspiracy as though it’s a proven fact and make fun of me for thinking otherwise!
In any case, I don’t believe the conspiracy, but I do applaud Rosie for bringing the issue up to be talked about.
