Breaking news threads are not the appropriate place to have a gun control debate. If you want to “talk about the problem”, you are not being silenced. You are free to do so, just not in a breaking news thread. Feel free to start a new thread in a more appropriate forum (Great Debates or the Pit, most likely), and also feel free to link back to this thread if you would like.
