Breaking News: Shuttle Colombia Explodes Over Dallas, Texas

Apparently, the shuttle was preparing for landing at Kennedy Space Center. There’s videotape of the shuttle breaking up that was released by the WFAA. NASA reports that it lost contact with Colombia at 9 A.M. EST and it has declared an emergency.
I’m watching CNN, and their website only has a breaking news banner on its front page, no details, else I’d post a link.

It seems that is was south of D/FW - around Waco, about 140 miles south of Dallas/FW.

No visual available from my home of Keller, TX - NE Tarrant County.

I know. I emailed the mods to close this thread, as there’s no need to have two threads on the same subject.
