There’s really no need to embellish anything, her days as a freedom fighter with the Slovokian Resistance alone could fill a movie. The combination of using her feminine wiles and blowing up railroad tracks (she’s an explosives expert) will charm the critics.
That’s probably more than she did.
It’s almost a shame the war had ended forty years earlier.
Maybe this isn’t the place for this story, but I’m sure we’re all aware that the box office results have been dismal, to say the least.
Also, enough people have thought this was a real story that Double Bay Today, an Australian parody site a la the Onion, had to debunk it.
I’ve said it other places and I’ll repeat it here: the facts of Melania’s story could be interesting, and the first trailer is slick. But obviously it a hollow, gilded vanity project that tells you nothing about her.
I called the theater, asking them when the next showing was.
