I was watching some show called “Unexplained, Unexplored” on Animal Planet and they were doing a segment on the myth that a duck’s quack doesn’t echo. It said that an internet seatch for a phrase turned up over 30,00 results or something, and as they were scrolling through the links I noticed that one of them was for Cecil’s column on the subject.
Chalk one up for Cecil!
Very mundane and pointless, I know. I just thought it was kind of neat to see the Straight Dope on TV, even if it was just for a second or two.
