gosh. this was a fun thread.
First, neutrality in the face of rank bigotry isn’t much of a virtue. It’s one of those things where you ought to take a particular side.
Second, “in my travels” is a non-answer of a sort that I wouldn’t expect to see from someone who’s chastising someone else for their non-answers in the thread. Why not answer the question?
Third, the idea of Briffault’s law is profoundly stupid. It’s as if I brought in a thread that said, “I’ve run across the idea that all white people are white because they paint themselves with Liquid Paper every night. What’s your opinion? I want a reasoned, intelligent discussion.” The idea is so stupid that it doesn’t really lend itself to an intelligent discussion.
