I was walking my dogs in the park yesterday and in the distance ,I spotted what looked like a cat. I figured it was somebody’s toy that blew away because it was way too red to be a cat. As we got closer it ran toward the woods. We got about 20 feet away and it sat and looked at us. Nordberg wanted to chase it, so as we got closer it, just ran into the trees.
It was a very bright red . I never saw a cat with that color before. It was not a hell of a lot older than kitten.
Red like an Abyssinian, or like Warhol?
Could it have been a red fox kit?
Or a kitten with a bad dye job??
It was a bright red in the carmine red group. I was close to it . It was a cat. I have a big black and white cat, but i would like to have that cat.
