Brightness is generally user-adjustable (albeit as a trade-off with battery life), so that’s really up to you. As for quality, the best way to judge is to go to a store with lots of models and see what works for you. Best Buy usually has a good selection.
I think the answer to “best display” questions always starts with “Samsung,…”
By reputation, certainly, but I’ve seen better tablet displays by other manufacturers.
I’m with Tim R. Mortiss above. Put your hands on same demonstration displays and use your own calibrated MK I eyeballs.
