I’m trying to find a Noddy book that I read in my youth, but I can’t remember the title.
It’s one where Noddy gets into some sort of trouble and leaves Toyland. It’s raining, so he wears a tartan mac and takes off his hat to keep the bell from rusting. That means the “missing” bulletin put out by Big Ears doesn’t help, since he’s not wearing his normal red blue and yellow clothes.
My recollection is that the cover was a sort of beige?

The covers have been redone a bunch of times, so the picture may not show the cover you remember. (It’s the original one that still has the golliwog.) But it is beige.
