Broadcast of our performance of Belshazzar's Feast, by William Walton

Last month we sang a couple of performances of Belshazzar’s Feast, by William Walton, at the Sydney Opera House. One of the performances was recorded live. It will be broadcast tomorrow (Saturday 13 June), starting at approximately 1.00pm* Australian eastern time - give or take a few minutes. We were in the second half of the program and the actual concert broadcast starts at 12.05pm, with Sculthorpe’s *Kakadu *and Bax’s Tintagel.

It was a very good performance. The broadcast should be well worth a listen. If you’d like to hear it, go here and click on the Listen Now link.

Thanks, I’ll try to check it out. One of of the more underrated contemporary classical pieces. I performed this with the Chorus of Westerly when I was around 10, and I ate it up.
