Regardless of how expected or even willed the death of a loved family member is, it’s still a hard loss to bear. Once our parent/s have gone, it reminds us of our own imminent mortality and I hope you get through these days OK Broomstick.

It’s so hard to lose parents. 
Losing a father is a terrible thing. I’m sorry you have to deal with this.
