About neosporin allergy. My husband burnt his foot while staying with a friend. She salved it with neosporin and bandaged it, and when the redness got worse, she repeated. Finally he mentions this to me and I remind him he is allergic. Mind you most of the skin on the top of his foot is gone, but he cleans all the goo off, salves it with bacitracin which he is not allergic to yet at least, and it gets better little by little.
I suggest you dab a little bit of neosporin on the opposite ankle on unbroken skin and watch for signs of allergy before trying it again on any wounds. IANAD.
I apologize, I missed that in my enchantment from the description of the grey rope of pus. Part of me wonders if your new zit is a demonstration of the power of prayer. Many, many people read the first zit story of yours and prayed for more.
But, on the other hand, fulminating pus volcano is a great band name, and if I can manage to fit it in, I may name my next EOL frigate fulminating puss volcano. If not, maybe ill name my player owned station fulminating pus volcano
On the one hand, I’m glad that Broomstick hasn’t developed another Zit From Hell. On the other hand, I’m disappointed that I won’t get a new thread about a ZFH.
For those who lamented the lack of pictures, google hidradenitis suppurativa photos for all you ever wanted to see, and more. Having had more than a few of these monsters in my life, I just had to express my jealousy that someone had a good one they could actually REACH. Mine always nestled in - shall we say - out of the way places.
Thank Og I never had it as bad as some of the poor folks in the google photos. That’s more “fun” than anyone should ever have to endure. They are right up there with the dreaded pilonidal cysts.
