Brothers And Sisters: Season Finale (OPEN SPOILERS!)

So, we are fans of the show and were not surprised at the “death” on the season finale, as that actor had already announced he wanted to leave the show.

However, what was the purpose of giving Sal the disease? I mean, really - where do they intend to go with this? It’s not like the dude is hanging around Gay bars and trolling at truck stops - he freely admits the last time he had sex Carter was President, so why even go this route?

Sort of figured the property they owned would strike oil, or there would be gold in them there hills, but water is sort of a nice twist to get their finances back in order.

Yeah, I know the show is a glorified soap opera, but I like the cast and it is a fun guilty pleasure. Very rarely see a thread about it here, so maybe not so popular here on the boards?

Yeah it seems somewhat pointless. Especially since he’s asymptomatic anyway after decades! and AIDS drugs are fairly good now.

After a season long mystery, I was not overly impressed by ‘water supply’. Even in arid California. I mean, how did the evil arch nemesis know about the water, if they had to drill extra hard to find it? Silliness!

That said, (spoiler???) I hear this is one of the shows doing a flashforward. That might be interesting.
