Browser extension to zoom text in specific regions of the screen

When I zoom text to where I’m able to read it comfortably, on this and many other sites, the zoom causes areas I don’t need to read to take up proportionally more screen real estate. Headers, footers, sidebars, etc. Are there any browsers or browser extensions that allow the user to selectively zoom the area they want and shrink the ones they don’t? I’m a firefox user on desktop, but at this point I’m willing to bite the bullet and switch browsers if I have to.

I don’t know what operating system you’re using, but in Windows for one, there is a magnifier built in to the OS, as part of the accessibility features.

I’m on Win 11, and I do use the magnifier when I have to, but it isn’t anywhere near as convenient as just scrolling the wheel on my mouse. For things like reading websites, using the magnifier means I have to keep panning left and right for every line on my screen, which isn’t all that fun.
