Is there a place on the SDMB site that lets me change the images, including the fonts, to a larger setting? I can’t find anything here.
That’s better handled via the browser rather than each website. Is there any reason you don’t want to do so via the browser?
Only that other sites don’t appear to have been modified, but suddenly, this one has.

If you want to zoom out, press control -.
If you want to zoom in, press control +.
It is cool, but also pretty annoying since it’s easy to do on accident.
Firefox, and I expect other modern browsers too, remembers your zoom settings for particular sites (unless and until you clear the relevant part of its history), so it will zoom the fonts on the dope to your desired size, and remember that size for your next visit, without affecting other sites.
I think it is now also standard in Firefox to have little + and - buttons to enlarge or diminish page magnification just to the right of the address bar (my Firefox has them, anyway). Or you can use the keyboard as others have explained.
The other way is hold down control and use your mouse wheel to control the zoom.
