Yesterday, I left my computer and everything was fine, when I got back to it, the font was all screwed up. Specifically, it seems to be bigger and/or bolder. It’s only on the Dope (hence posting here), only on my work computer and only on Firefox(3.6).
I’ll get some screenshots in a second.
ETA: Shut up, I figured it out. Yes, I tried Control-Scroll, but since it wasn’t a browser wide thing, I didn’t think that was it, besides that didn’t make it right. Tried it again and it turns out, Control-Scroll only adjusted the font on this page and I must have never hit the right size for it to click with my brain as being ‘right’.
Seems all is well again.
Simul-post/edit. The ‘shut up’ wasn’t aimed at you Trepa, it was meant as a joke!
I have to assume it was me that did it without paying attention. I doubt anyone else used my computer. I wonder why only this site was effected?
I wasn’t aware of this feature! Thanks! And, armed with the knowledge, I went out and found that you can return to the normal size for the page by doing ctrl+0 (zero).
If that happens again (and you’re using Firefox) you can go to View – Zoom – Reset. Unlike IE, Firefox doesn’t change font-sizes globally; if you zoom in (or out) on one site, it’ll remember that next time so you don’t have to keep adjusting things on a site-by-site basis, and it won’t render other sites differently unless you request it.
Choosing “reset” will bring things back to their original state.
