Buc-ee's - world's largest service plaza

How to say you’re from the southeast without saying you’re from the southeast. Carolina or Carolina-adjacent for sure. Shudder.

When god came down and personally created barbecue, you can bet your backside it involved Eastern vinegar based sauce.

I must have missed the sueing of other mascot aspect. My bad. I’m over in southeast Asia now and I’m a bit out of sync.

Trademark, but yeah, while there is some superficial similarity, it seems like overreach to me

Or Tennessee. Gridley’s is the first place I ever ran into that.

God is an idiot, then. Truly great barbecue needs no sauce. It also needs no slaw.

Whatever the outcome of the lawsuits, it will be for great justice!

Aha. I usually come upon the scene too late and see only fresh-tilled earth.

I drive right by that place when driving to & from work. It’s supposed to open in a few weeks, I believe. I am going to assume, at least initially, the traffic is going to be bad. Will probably have to find an alternate route when driving to/from work.

@burpo_the_wonder_mutt , Ewwwww, just ewww!

What are we gonna do with you?

See post 126, which was quoted again today in post 145.

Be grateful for that dead.

Whew! I guess you’re OK, then.

The first one just opened in Arizona, and it was a big freakin’ deal! Even the Governor showed up.

I stopped at my first-ever Buc-ee’s today: a brand-new one on I-70 in Dayton, Ohio. Got a tank of gas, and bought some tchotchkes for my wife, and an insulated tumbler for myself.

You didn’t do a bbq sammich?

Kenobi!!

I understand the peach cobbler is to die for.

It was 10 in the morning!

So!? They reheat great.

I get ya tho’.

Except for Germany - we have a McFit which one of the largest fitness studio chains in Europe

I drive right by this one while traveling to and from work. Have only stopped in once. I am not sure what the big deal is.
