Space Vampire was the episode’s actual name. Talk about telegraphing the plot.
But nothing beats the originality of “Vegas In Space”
I liked the show - it was another welcome means to feed my growing sf fandom at the time, along with Star Wars, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica - and I definitely had a crush on Erin Gray. I remember I even got and read the novelization of the pilot episode from Scholastic.
Rest in peace, Gil, and thanks for some fun sf memories from my childhood.
