I’ve obviously been a Doper too long. I was merging into thick rush hour traffic when I found myself behind a car with a bumper sticker that left me smiling and thinking of another Doper. EddyTeddyFreddy, I wish you’d seen it. It read:

My all time favorite bumper sticker for sheer WTF’ness said this:
“I’ll forgive Jane Fonda when the Jews forgive Hitler.”
It wasn’t like I saw it in the 60’s or 70’s either. It was the late 90’s.

Saw this one yesterday:

The background of the sticker is red, and it says: If this bumper sticker is blue, you’re driving too fast.
Explanation: When a light source moves toward you (or you move toward it), the light appears slightly bluer than normal, just like a car honking while moving toward you is higher-pitched than normal. However, you’d have to travel at extremely high speeds, near the speed of light, for the blue shift to be noticeable.
