Bumping of old threads

I heard this is a no no.

How old is considered old?

" A general guideline for “old” would be a thread older than three months."

Note that the standard is slightly different in different forums. Check the stickys at the top of each forum for guidance. We’re less concerned about resurrections in Comments on Cecil’s Column, Comments on Staff Reports, GQ, and Cafe Society than we are in IMHO, MPSIMS, and the Pit.

If you mean bumping your OWN thread because you didn’t get responses, that’s a different category. That’s allowed once.
