I’m rather easily distracted, and tend to forget to check back to threads I’ve posted to, for responding to people’s responses to my post. After awhile, sometimes I eventually remember, and cuss at myself for not posting back sooner, since now the thread has been dead for x amount of time, and I’d feel silly dragging it out again. I’m the sort of person who hates leaving things hanging… but I don’t want to be rude. I also wasn’t sure if this should be in MSPIMS (because I’m sharing an experience) or GQ, (because I’m also sort of asking a question). But I thought if I put it here I’d be relatively safe.
Any opinions on such?
Just tried to respond, but I think it didn’t go through, so sorry if this double-posts:
Bumping old threads is usually frowned upon; if you want to post an update on an old thread, you might consider starting a new one and provide a link to the old thread in the OP.
There was a Pit thread about this a few months back, I’ll see if I can track it down.
Why is it frwoned upon?
Well, here’s one, but I’m not sure it was the thread I was looking for… Anyhow, it gets the point across.
Enjoy the scattered red search words. I think they look nice.
What is considered an “old” thread?
How old is old?
From this thread.
