Get pictures of everything! Most of all, I hope you have pictures of the handwriting on the mirror. If the little runt gets caught for tagging, or if there are visible tags around his property, this may be a sufficient link for the investigator.

I think they need to buy a firearm and get proper training, and if someone breaks into their house and goes near the daughter, they need to shoot the bastard (make sure it’s not in the back).
This person did not “merely” take a few Pokemon cards. This asshole has left a calling card that clearly says, “I am a sexual predator.” If they can’t get enough information to let the police nab the guy, they need to be ready to use force to protect their daughter.
