It’s the “Murikan”, “The Murikan People” that really annoys me.
I suspect he cultivated the “folksie” talk so he’d fit in w/ the good ol’ boys in Texas, impress the “regular” people. His Mama probably thought it was cute too. The man’s got an ivy league education for god’s sake, you’d think he could master a little public speaking.
