Bush Blackout Speech - What A Moron!!!

Wow, what a stunning revelation. Politicians do things for propoganda purposes. This Bush must be a real smart guy to have invented such a concept.

Monty, a “service” where they don’t even care if you show up or not is certainly “pretend”. Now, quit lying about what DtC has said - at no time did he say that Guard service in general is, or was, pretend.

I’ll go elucidator one better and point out that the flight was not necessary at all, strictly a photo op.

Aren’t we all.

My phalli ‘meringues, that there is an inaccuration. Of my mential fascilitisational abilities. Yes, it is. Today, Amnesia is strong <nod> It’s strong <nod nod> And the world knows that <nod nod nod> Bring it on. Home to me, yea-h, yeah-a, yeah-haaw <serious frown>
<clears throat> I’ll take a few crusades. Sorry, quests. Questions. You foist, sire . . .

Hey, Elvis, you jerk. I didn’t lie at all.

Thank you. Was that a retro-orical question cos I reference all those to Ms Rice ?

The rest of the National Guard has to show up for duty.

I say it was “pretend” because Shrub was assigned to what was known as the “Champagne Division” of the National Guard; a unit set up specifically as a santuary for rich and politically connected young men as a means to keep them out of combat.

Bush went and took a few flying lessons, then he deserted his division. I’m not disparaging the whole National Guard, I’m disparaging George Dumbya Bush. I’m disparaging the fact that not only did he use his family connections to make things as easy on himself as possible during the Vietnam War but that he showed an arrogant and spoiled contempt for even the limited service he WAS given.

The stunt on the boat was pure propaganda. Bush may have spent a few weekends taking flying lessons but he is most definitely not a soldier.

I usually agree with your posts, Monty, and I have nothing against you personally. I think you’re a pretty intelligent and thoughtful poster. I’ll just respectfully disagree with you this one time and say that I think Bush greatly inflated his own very limited military background and tried to project himself as having a comradery with people that he felt disinclined to go under fire with when he had the chance.

I’ll disagree with you in your appraisal of Bush’s demeanor, then, DtC. FTR: I don’t like the guy as president, I didn’t like the guy as governor, and I’ll certainly register my dislike at the polls come next election.

Lets see. . . lying about getting a blow job versus lying about why you are starting a war.

Yeah, GW is a highly pious man. Sure. Right. He’s got a hand stretched to heaven. Absoulutely. Of course. Just don’t look too close at what the other hands doing Evil One.

I´d rather have him getting a blowjob than a War too… he does need a BJ badly too… all that anger and self righteousness…
