Bush-Kerry Debate: Watch Along Thread

“Denigrating our allies” - Bush started with a strong rebuttal, then wandered when he had talked about “talking with these guys on the phone every day - I know how these guys think.”

How about we drink every time Bush says “Uhhh”?

Someone help me count how many times Bush thumps the podium. I’ve lost track.

Bush supporters are already going voting for him. Remember who these two are trying to appeal to.

bush keeps harping on kerry’s “wrong war” quip, his hard drive must have a bad block or three

Kerry’s too frelling smug and self satisfied

there has to be a better choice, i’m voting “none of the above”

The “co-hersed?”

Whatever works for you.

I honestly don’t see how Bush is coming across as folksy. He strikes me as peeved that he’s being criticized.

“I see the casualty reports every day” - oops.

The “Miscalculation” response by Bush was bad.

I havth beennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

No thanks. Not interested in poisoning myself tonight.

Big word there. “How dare you run against me!”

BTW don’t forget tonight’s live edition of The Daily Show! :headbang:

I’ve got it!, i figured out why Bush keeps thumping the podium, he’s communicating sending secret commands in morse code…

I wonder, I heard somewhere that Bush is not a night owl, and was practicing staying up late. Maybe he’s just tired?

Hey, I haven’t seen you around lately!

Bush is melting down…he’s doing terribly.

Kerry is doing pretty well, but I think a lot of that is the contrast between the two. Kerry is smooth, Bush is…not. He’s stilted and studdering. I actually feel bad for him at this point…I never would have thought it would be this bad.

(I’m almost sad I missed my trip and stayed home to watch this…I should have gone. :))

New rule (drinking game), -> 90%/90%

I have to say, I think Bush is getting his ass kicked on substance. I just wish I could believe it’s going to matter.

MMMM…kerry’s waffling again, MMMM…waffles !

Bush is even the same color as his puppet! (not a bash, a simple observation).

Bush is starting to listen harder. Good for him.

Oooh, Jimmy used the L-word and Kerry parried it. Why not use the Gulliver’s Travels phrase, "said the thing that was not.
